”Isidora Goyenechea and her two Daughters” was etched alongside ”Flora Chilena” in 2019, when I started learning to print in the etching technique that employs wax/bitumen and acid. ”The Passion of Lovers” was engraved in 2021, using a tattoo machine for an experiment about tattooing on random surfaces that weren’t skin.Â
In 2024 I also etched a new metallic plate called ”Fauna Chilena”, and ended up printing these four plates in the various blank papers and recycled papers that I had laying around, making every copy unique for the Drukkunstfesitval (19.04.2024 – 24.04.2024) and BBK Jahresausstellung 2024 (19.04.2024 – 26.05.2024).
The Festival was organised by Sirma Kekeç and Felix Dreesen in cooperation with the University of the Arts Bremen and the Weserburg Museum für Moderne Künst.
